Slowly coming along but starting to take shape nicely.

Back to Painting

I went back to Art last Friday.

The ladies were certain I wasn't returning.

When I walked in they all started clapping lol

It felt good to have a paintbrush in the hand again :D

Painting Day Fridays

Well it seems like forever since I've made a painting post.

Its was actually May 4 I think when I posted where I was up to on my latest painting.

I have dabbled a little bit in the last 11 wks.

Painting was good occupational therapy for me after the stroke.

So this is where I was up to

And the next 3 worked over the week before school holidays (mid June)

#3 Painting

Here is the latest update of my 3rd painting.
I haven't been to art in about 6 weeks so it felt like re-learning some things :D

I worked mainly on the trees and leaves.

Melbourne adventure starts again tomorrow.

Painting Day Fridays

My painting days are on a Friday morning. I drop the kids off at school and go straight to painting.

I didn't go yesterday. I woke up with a killer headache so decided to rest at home instead.

We went to my parents again for dinner tonight and since I was feeling good decided to do some painting. I painted for about 2 hrs while the kids played and hubby watched the football.

My painting is coming along so nicely now.

My second painting is finally finished. I can't believe it! I'm so glad cause I was getting a bit sick of it.

Week 5 Painting

I'm closer now to finishing Painting #2. I have to upload the pic but I'm starting to feel the end is near and am already looking for my next subject hahahahahaha

I'm loving it and don't want to stop :D

#1 Painting

Thought I better post my first painting that I did :D

I'm yet to bring it home and hang it but at least I've finally signed it.

After I finish the butterfly painting, I'm told I have to start really learning. HAH!!! Look out for painting #3.

Art

I finally decided this year to start painting. My mum is an artist and for years has been telling me I could do it. I always thought though that because I couldn't draw, I couldn't paint. Well, I've now found that that concept is wrong.

As soon as I pick up a paintbrush I feel totally relaxed. The weeks that I can't go I really miss it, like yesterday. Unfortunately I can't make it next Friday either but I'm hoping I might be able to go Thursday instead.
